A Larceny Perpetrated

Most people would agree with Mahatma Gandhi's view that European colonialism of Asian and African people was larceny perpetrated on a grand scale. Gandhi abjured all of his worldly possessions and embraced a monastic life. When our teacher used to give lectures on Gandhism we found the discourse to be boring and fell asleep. We were very poor. Some of us earned a living by selling homespun shawls in the market. Once our teacher demeaned Sukanta for not completing his homework. And he was dismissed by the principal very soon.
